-Par defaut il n'est pas possible d'installer cette imprimante. 
- 
-Tout d'abord commencer par télécharger le fichier PPD qui se trouve sur cette page : 
-

-Télécharger "PPD, Generic" (fre_wcp75_genericppd.zip)

-Décompressez. 
- 
-Vous avez alors un fichier Xrxwcp75.ppd. On peut le considérer comme le pilote de l'imprimante. 
- 
-Mais ce fichier ne marche pas sous Ubuntu Gutsy tel quel, il faut l'ouvrir avec un éditeur de texte et supprimer la ligne "*cupsFilter: "application/vnd.cups-postscript 0 XeroxWCPFilter". 
- 
-Ensuite vous pouvez ajouter l'imprimante dans CUPS grace au ppd.

-I know this is two years later, but I just got off the phone with Xerox and they walked me through the process of adding a Work Centre Pro (32 in my case) but this should work for all models:

-1. Go to the xerox website and download the WinXP Generic PPD driver 
- 
-2. edit the file as sudo and remove the following line: "*cupsFilter: "application/vnd.cups-postscript 0 XeroxWCPFilter" 
- 
-3. copy the edited file into /etc/cups/ppd 
- 
-4. restart the cups service : $ sudo /etc/init.d/cupsys restart 
- 
-5. install the printer as you would system>Administration>Printing - the driver should appear in the list, otherwise, click on the Add driver button and find your edited PPD file. 
- 
-Hopefully this will help others to print with a Xerox WCP...

-L'installation de l'imprimante se fait directement dans l'interface de CUPS. Suivre le tuto http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/cups .

-Quand CUPS vous le demandera, il faudra lui donner le fichier .ppd correspondant a votre imprimante. Dans notre cas "Xrxwcp75.ppd" (modifié) fonctionne parfaitement !
